Dec 7th - Lino cut printing - Christmas cards 7 - 9pm

Join artist-printmaker Mary Bowen on December 7th for an evening of delightful Christmas card making, using lino-cut printing methods.

During this exciting workshop you will plan a Christmas-inspired lino print design and then, guided by Mary, cut it out using lino-cutting tools and techniques. There will be festive imagery available to draw from, or you are more than welcome to bring your own. Mary will provide a range of lovely ink colours available to print with, and greetings cards to print your creations onto, ready to write and deliver to loved ones.

The workshop will be held in The Shop space at Coombeshead farm, nestled in Cornwall’s glorious countryside. All materials will be provided, including aprons, lino tools, rollers and inks. Bread and butter will be provided by the farm restaurant, to keep us all fuelled with extra small plates available to order.

This workshop is perfect for either beginners or someone with experience of lino printing. Everyone will be learning, so no prior experience is required to join us. Each stage will be fully explained and demonstrated and the evening will be lots of fun.
