April 4th - Easter Flowers – Watercolour Painting

Join artist-printmaker Mary Bowen on 4th April for a spring evening of watercolour painting. 7 - 9pm

During the workshop we will be taking inspiration from spring flowers and using a range of exciting watercolour techniques to study them. We will be starting with a series of drawing exercises to build our confidence and then move into adding colour and texture.

We will look at a range of artists to inspire our work and you will leave at the end of the evening with a beautiful series of studies on cartridge paper.
The workshop will be held in The Shop space at Coombeshead. All materials will be provided and the farm restaurant will have some light refreshments available, to keep us all fuelled.

This workshop is perfect for either beginners or someone with more experience of painting. Everyone will be learning, so no prior experience is required to join us. Each stage will be fully explained and demonstrated and the evening will be lots of fun.
