Come and join us for a harvest celebration and a walk around the farm on Saturday 21st September 11am - 3pm.
It's been a busy couple of years here at Coombeshead, with grants from Forest for Cornwall enabling us to plant an agroforestry-style fruit orchard in the front field, our first herd of Dexter cows arriving onsite, and the market garden in full swing.
Come and join us to celebrate the end of the summer growing season and all its glorious bounty. Ryan will be leading a walk around the farm at 11am for those keen to learn a little more about what we are up to.
Our friends George & Loretta will be here pressing apples for juice, a wonderful sight, which we have done for the past few years and is always great fun.
The kitchen will be preparing some legendary salt beef baps, as well as roasted tomato and aioli baps. Tea and coffee, local beers and cider and apple juice straight from the press will be available.
The farm shop will be stocked with products from the butchery - sausages, chickens, beef cuts and the like - as well as plenty of freshly picked veg from the garden.
Adults £2, children £1, under 5s go free - with a guided farm tour included in the price.
