A Coombeshead Duck: whole or processed for the Christmas home
We are excited to offer a second flush of our valley ducks into the Christmas fray. To be sold as a whole bird or fully processed as per our regular duck offering, with the crown ready to roast. Our ducks are twice to three times the age of a commercial duck, fed a natural diet of forage and pasture complimented by organic grains. They are a large bird, averaging between 3.2-3.8kg, not far off the size of a small-medium goose. All of our ducks will be dry aged for 10 days before dispatch.
These birds have given us great pleasure over the past year. They have spent the Autumn & Winter grazing the valley and meadows, a joy to see animals enjoying a natural habitat as they should. We hope you enjoy them as much as we have. Please refrigerate all meat items upon arrival. All meat items are suitable for freezing.
Each whole duck includes Duck & Giblet Stuffing.
