Set amongst 66 acres of meadows, woodland and oak-lined streams, Coombeshead Farm is a guesthouse and working farm offering glorious isolation and farmhouse comforts in the heart of Cornwall’s rural countryside.
Come and stay in one of our nine bed & breakfast rooms or our self-catered two bed Cottage. Our restaurant is also open Thursday - Sunday, offering a set menu using meat and veg from the Farm.
Through the winter months, we offer Private Hire Outs of the Farm where you can come and stay with groups of friends and family and be looked after by our wonderful team.
Our small shop is open Thursday - Sunday 9am - 6pm, selling produce from the Farm and from local makers. We also have a Bar Menu available Thursday - Sunday 12pm - 6pm for those wanting a stroll and a drink and a bite to eat (no booking needed).
Our onsite bakery produces sourdough loaves made from heritage varieties of wheat, spelt and rye, much of which is stone ground on site. These are sent to restaurants & shops across the country, and also sold in our small shop onsite (email ahead to reserve a loaf).
On the Farm, we keep cattle, sheep, pigs, chickens and ducks, as well as managing our orchards and market garden. All our animals are outdoor reared, and butchered onsite to produce monthly Farm Boxes for delivery, as well as air dried mangalitza ham & sausages for retail and wholesale.
