Coombeshead Farm

We love the European tradition of Agroturismo. Honest, warm and welcoming places where a passion for good produce resonates, the old ways are respected and the sense of place is clear. This is our goal, a Cornish agroturismo of sorts.

Our menu is built around our animals & vegetables, grown and raised with a deep respect for our land, and a desire to improve it, all within a few steps of the dining room. Often cooked over a wood fire, there’ll be space for plenty of greens, either picked fresh that day, or preserved from a previous season, and good bread always present. Served with good, honest hospitality and a nice bottle or two from friends near and far.

Wednesday - Saturday
5.15pm - 11pm (Last reservation at 8.15pm)

At both Lunch & Dinner we serve a three course set menu priced at £45 per person (£50 per person for those dining with us on or after the 1st July 2024). As with all things on the farm, what is likely to appear changes regularly depending on the season, but the sample menus below will give you a sense of what might be in store.

We allow 2 hours for each sitting. If you wish to remain with us late into the night, we advise you to book a table after 7pm.

Children are now welcome in the evening but due to limited seating in the dining room and the cost involved producing each meal, every seat is charged for at full rate.

Please note that the restaurant operates on a reservation only basis. Unfortunately you are likely to be disappointed if you arrive at the farm without one.

Our last Five Course Dinner was served on 31st March 2023, for a little more info on why we've changed our format, you can read Tom's thoughts on the state of the hospitality sector here.

We rarely bring fish and shellfish into the kitchen. Therefore, if you are pescatarian please expect a vegetarian menu. Through the summer months the menu will often be centred around chickens from the farm.

Please note that we only accept medical dietary requirements and cannot cater for preferences. Due to the onsite milling & flour production in the bakery, we do not feel comfortable accepting those who suffer from Coeliac disease.

Do please take a moment to read our full terms and conditions.

A discretionary 12.5% Service Charge will be added to your bill, and is distributed equally between all members of the farm. If you have any questions at all, please do ask the team during your time with us.
