After hatching, our ducks & chickens spend 3 weeks in the relative safety of our brooder. From there, they are put out onto pasture for the remainder of their lives. These ducks & chickens have spent the majority of their life in our orchards over a 120-140 day period.
Fed on a blend of barley, peas, & wheat to supplement their daily intake of grass & meadow forage, they not only live a life few other birds are able to live, they have done untold good to our growing areas and pasture over their time.
