After hatching, our ducks spend 3 weeks in the relative safety of our brooder. From there, they are put out onto pasture for the remainder of their lives. These ducks have spent the majority of their life in our orchards over a 14 week period.
Fed on a blend of barley, peas, & wheat to supplement their daily intake of grass & meadow forage, they not only live a life few other ducks are able to live, they have done untold good to our growing areas and pasture over their time.
