Saturday 11th October, Print Workshop: Creative Monoprinting Day Using Botanicals

Spend a day at Coombeshead Farm creating botanical monoprint artworks and having lunch at the farm restaurant, on Saturday 11th October, 10am-4pm.

During this creative full day workshop, guided by artist-printmaker Mary Bowen, you will explore the process of botanical mono-printing, using leaves and plants as inspiration and print artworks directly from foliage collected from around the farm. Over the course of the day you will learn how to print stunning compositions by applying ink to different textures and then transferring it using a plate and printing press. It will be a relaxed and fun event and you will leave with a range of beautiful art prints on paper to take home.

Mary will bring along some seasonal foliage, but you are more than welcome to come with an image, sprig, or idea in hand.

The day will be held at Coombeshead Farm, nestled in Cornwall’s glorious countryside.

Our restaurant lunch will be provided, along with pastries on arrival and hot/cold drinks throughout the day. This workshop is perfect for either beginners or someone with more experience of printmaking. Everyone will be learning, so no prior experience is required to join us. Each stage will be fully explained and demonstrated and the day will be lots of fun.
