Our most recent batch of chickens are quite special. Originally from Romania, Naked Necks are a slow growing bird perfectly adapted to free ranging in all conditions. This batch, hatched at the beginning of June, have lived a long life on rich pasture and organic grains. The resulting birds are as chickens used to be; huge on flavour with thick skin, a golden layer of fat, and incredibly juicy. The cockerels are the largest of the birds, all weighing in at around 2.6-2.9 kg.
