May 2nd - Etching Prints - Wildflower Meadows

Join artist-printmaker Mary Bowen on 2nd May for an evening creating dry-point etching prints inspired by wildflower meadows. 7 - 9pm

During the workshop Mary will guide you through the process of planning and creating a dry-point etching, using a range of textural drawing and mark-making techniques. We will be taking inspiration from wildflower meadows, or you can bring your own image to work from. You will leave with a beautiful print on cartridge paper, ready to frame!

The workshop will be held in The Shop space here at Coombeshead. All materials will be provided and light refreshments will be available from the restaurant, to keep us all fuelled.

This workshop is perfect for either beginners or someone with more experience of printmaking. Everyone will be learning, so no prior experience is required to join us. Each stage will be fully explained and demonstrated and the evening will be lots of fun.
