Saturday November 2nd - Full Day Collagraph Printing

Spend a full day creating collagraph prints inspired by nature and have lunch at Coombeshead restaurant, on Saturday November 2nd, 10am-4pm.

Join artist printmaker Mary Bowen to explore this stunning process, gathering inspiration from natural shapes and forms around us and creating expressive and colourful abstract compositions.

During the morning you will design and make a collagraph (collaged) plate using a range of textures and layers. In the afternoon you will learn how to ink up and then print your plate using a specialist inks and a printing press. All materials will be provided, but please bring along an image or 2 that you would like to take inspiration from, to work from.

The day will be held at Coombeshead farm, nestled in Cornwall’s glorious countryside. Our restaurant lunch will be provided, along with pastries on arrival and hot/cold drinks throughout the day. This workshop is perfect for either beginners or someone with more experience of printmaking.

Everyone will be learning, so no prior experience is required to join us. Each stage will be fully explained and demonstrated and the day will be lots of fun.
