Saturday February 22nd Full Day Etching Landscapes

Spend a full day at Coombeshead Farm creating etchings inspired by Cornish landscapes and having lunch at the restaurant, on Saturday February 22nd, 10am-4pm.

Join artist printmaker Mary Bowen to explore this stunning process, gathering inspiration from the beautiful and varied landscapes of Cornwall. During the day you will design, make and print an etching plate using Tetrapak, specialist tools and a range of beautiful inks. Mary will give you all the knowledge you need to continue exploring this beautiful print method and even create more of your own prints at home.

Our restaurant lunch will be provided, along with pastries on arrival and hot/cold drinks throughout the day. This workshop is perfect for either beginners or someone with more experience of printmaking.

Everyone will be learning, so no prior experience is required to join us. Each stage will be fully explained and demonstrated and the day will be lots of fun.

* How to ink up and print your plate onto paper using an etching press
